Summer trip to Cali 2011
We had such a great visit to see Grandma Toria, Grandpa, and Uncle E.T. in July. We enjoyed special family time, trips to the beach, a day at Disneyland, and a break from the Texas heat! It is so beautiful there. While we miss getting to see the grandparents more often it sure is a nice place to go and visit! Thank you for having us and making it such a fun summer memory for us Grandma Toria, Grandpa, and Uncle E.T.! We love you all!
Grandma Toria took Lily on a special Grandma/grandaughter outing to Build a Bear where they created this sweet ballerina bunny. It was a cute bonding experience and Lily was one happy girl ; )
Uncle E.T. taught Lily what the undertow was on our trip to the beach. It was cute how they stood there and said "Wait... ready.... UNDERTOW!" Lily thought that was the best and was full of giggles about it.
No trip to the beach is complete without burying Uncle E.T. in the sand.

We should frame this pic after the ordeal it took to get to the end of the line! Let's just say by this point we were all Disney-ed out. But glad we got a pic with good ole Mickey.Posted by Jenny at 8:28 PM 0 comments
Great Grandma, Mommy, and Lily
Mimi and LilyWe went to Midland in July to visit Mimi, Grandad, Aunt Shelley, and Great Grandma. Great Grandma was staying at Mimi and Grandad's house after her surgery to repair her broken knee. Lily was entertained by Grandma's wheelchair and she also had an interesting lesson in dentures. : )

Swimming Girl!
Going for the step
"Swimming" in the bathtub the night she overcame her fear of putting her head underwater.
"Super Gobbles"Lily did 5 weeks of swimming camps this summer, and developed her swim skills greatly. At the beginning she was afraid to get her face wet at all and by the end she was swimming across the width of the pool. It was so exciting for her and us!

Carrie and Kevin... 25 years of marriage!
Back in June we had the opportunity to host a party celebrating Aunt Carrie and Uncle Kevin's 25th wedding anniversary. Lots of the Hatfield crew came to town and it was a fun family time! We missed Grandma, my parents, and Shelley who stayed in Midland as Grandma had recently broken her knee. But it was a sweet time with so much of the family gathered together.
The cousins that were able to come... Kristi, Caris, Kayla, Jennifer, Krista, Baby Addison, Rosemary, Amanda, and Amy.
Sadly, I didn't get a picture of the happy couple at their anniversary party, but here is their pretty cake : )
Hailey, Jace, and Lily (all born the same year.. June, September, and November) The last time we took a pic of these three like this they were 2 weeks old, two months old, and five months old. It's going by so fast!Posted by Jenny at 7:29 PM 0 comments

Happy Easter!
Lily loved helping in each step of the cake making process : )
Grandad, Mimi, and Aunt Shelley came to visit for the weekend!
Egg hunting and confetti egg cracking : )
Hunting eggs
Hmmm the colors were interesting... but the experience was a blast : )It was a great Easter this year. We had family, egg dyeing, egg hunts, yummy food, beautiful church service, and a little girl who is starting to understand the meaning of the Easter celebration. It was a beautiful thing to hear her retell the story of the cross and the resurrection this year. Praying she continues to understand the beauty of these events as she grows.
