Happy Birthday Kristalista!

SO SWEET! Lily and K-Dog (our favorite almost 50 yr old)

Happy Birthday Krista and Matthew

Lily just loves lil Caleb Sams! She followed him around the whole time at Krista and Matthew's birthday party.

And this is old, but I just had to put it up in honor of our sweet cousin's 20th birthday. We love you "Kista", and are so grateful for the sunshine you bring to our lives. Muah!

Visiting Gramma Ginger in Oregon

Shane's Dad gave us the wonderful gift of flying us to Oregon to spend some time with his Gramma Ginger following the death of his Grandpa and her beloved husband of 62 years. We got a chance to reminisce with Gramma on Grandpa John's life and the lasting impact he had on his loved ones. It was a great time of bonding with Gramma Ginger, and being able to help out with some of the day to day stuff. We also got to enjoy some fun times with Lily at the beautiful beach on the Oregon coast. Lily had an amazing time. Aside from the traveling (she has developed a fear of heights, and was not so into the airplane ride), it was the happiest she's ever been on a big vacation like that. She normally has a rough time being out of her element, but she was loving Gramma Ginger and the whole Oregon experience. We are thankful to the Lord, and grateful for the prayers he answered in making this a special and memorable trip.

Sliding down the sand dunes

It's hard to tell from this picture, but this is a glimpse inside the world's largest known sea lion cave. It was really cool to see these little guys playing and lounging in their natural habitat.

This is the Heceta Head lighthouse, which according to the sign is the world's most photographed lighthouse.

Happy Birthday Mimi!

Mimi, Grandad, and Aunt Shelley came to stay the weekend with us on Mimi's birthday. It was a fun time celebrating Lily's favorite person in the world besides her Daddy and Mommy. We are all blessed to have a Mom/Grandmother who is so loving, involved, and invested in our lives. Thank you for continually showing your love to us Mom! We love you!
Lily really wanted to take this pic, can't you tell? : )

Logan and Lily's day of fun!

Our friends the Schaefer's just recently moved to San Antonio, but before they left the metroplex we had Logan over to spend a day with us. These 2 are so cute together, and they had lots of fun holding tea parties, playing and feeding ducks at the duck pond park, listening to storytime at the library, and sharing some Chik-fil-a for lunch. We're gonna miss that Schaefer crew!

Lily doin crazy eyes : )

CASA walk in Lubbock

Lily and I went with Ree Ree and Kayla to Krista's apt in Lubbock (along with her 3 friends/roommates and their Mom's) to walk in the CASA 5 K (which supports children who need court advocates). It was a fun weekend with lots of girl time and bonding.

At the walkathon.

Lily and the Texas Tech mascot.

The girls taught her "Getcha guns up!"

One of Krista's roommates, Molly, had a surprisingly large supply of toys for Lily to play with. Hahahaha!

Easter 2010

We had a great weekend celebrating the Ressurection with the family. Here's a glimpse at the festivities:

Lily started the weekend by hunting eggs at Aunt Penny's house with Jace.

Then Lily and Jace entertained the fam with a dance off.

On Saturday Mimi took us to FTBC for more egg hunting.

And Lily had a lil down time with Grandad.

For lunch Mimi made us some yummy....

STEAK FINGERS!

Poor Aunt Shelley was sick the whole weekend.

On Sunday we were back in the metroplex for church and lunch with the Maberrys. Here's Lily with our Easter bunny cake.

And then there was MORE egg hunting!

Lily had fun hangin with "Kista" and Kayla : )

The girls tried to help me get Lily to take a pic with this pretty wisteria in the background.

But she decided she'd rather pose next to the gas meter. Vintage Lily : )
