After watching an episode of Dora Lily got the idea to go to the zoo and asked us to take her everyday for about a week. When we did get to take her it turned out to be our best zoo experience yet. Lily was very into the animals and it was a beautiful day.
Look at the big crocodile! 
Lily fed some parakeets with birdseed on a stick. She took this quite seriously.
This was so cute. As we were walking up to the lion exhibit and before we could see them we heard them roaring. Lily cupped her hand around her ear and whispered, "I can hear the lions, Mommy." Maybe you had to be there, but it was adorable to me.
And she is still talking about the white tiger. It was way cool to see it so closely.
