Lily's 1st Movie Theater Experience

Walking out with E.T.

The snacks

E.T. is ready

Mommy and Lily are ready mostly (Lily did not like the pre-preview commercials that were on. This is her anxious/scared face).

So we've been wanting to try to take Lily to the movie theater as she is a big fan of the motion pictures. And we keep hearing that "Up" is a really cute movie. Then E.T. voiced his interest in taking Lily to her first movie. So the plan was in motion. Daddy was at work. So it was just E.T., Lily, and I headed to the show. We were prepared to leave the theater when she got antsy or if she got fussy, but she ended up sitting through the whole show. Well, sitting as much as an almost 2 year old is capable of. She alternated between my lap, standing, sitting on her own, and leaning on E.T. She loved the Reeses pieces, and slowly munched on them throughout the show. And she liked to verbalize what was happening as she understood it, which was way cute. The movie had a lot of depth for an animated film. There were tear jerking parts and really funny parts too. Overall it was an awesome film. And we all had a great time.
