Lily thoroughly enjoyed her birthday cake (and spent the remainder of the evening running around the house like a wild monkey). It was fun watching her dig into the cake as well as enjoying all her cool new toys/clothes/books. Thank you to all the friends and family that helped make this occasion extra special for us. Lily, Shane, and I love and appreciate you.

Cute cake! Can't believe it's already been a year!
It looks like Lily had a great time on Saturday! As you mentioned in an earlier post, a day of "emotional distress" for Paisley made it difficult for us to leave the house :) We were thinking of Miss Lily though. Let's get together soon!
She is so cute. I can't believe how blonde her hair is getting. We got your gifts in the mail and LOVED them. Thanks so much! Hailey loves the sippy and the blocks, I am thinking (really hard) about eventually starting that book, and Patrick LOVED the magazine (seriously... weird huh!). Thanks again. We miss you and are so sad we couldn't be there to celebrate Lily's birthday. Maybe for year 2!
